The iranian campus

Project idea

The iranian campus project was a contest proposed by alfaba cultural group located in seattle, america which was considered for the purpose of designing a cultural and artistic center in order to develop the cultural activities of iranians in this city. One of the main goals in the process of designing the iranian campus complex, the use of patterns and symbols of iranian architecture has been in shaping the body of the design. The process of the initial formation of the design based on the concept of the central courtyard and the emphasis was on the positive and negative atmosphere that shaped it. Taking advantage of the arch form and iranian materials such as tiling, in inducing the sense of iranian architecture to the user, as well as allocating public open spaces in the center section, which can be seen from both floors to hold iranian ceremonies. And promotes it to people from other cultures.
